Clifford has over nine years of experience in public accounting and tax-related matters, with a strong background in Puerto Rico tax filings and U.S. federal tax filings.
His experience includes assisting businesses in optimizing their tax positions, including acquisitions, reorganizations, and expansions, eligibility for Puerto Rico’s various tax incentive programs, and negotiations with various Puerto Rico state and local tax authorities.
Clifford engages in performing tax consulting services, mostly related to tax business tax structuring and Puerto Rico tax incentives including, but not limited to, Act 60-2019, Acts 20/22, tourism, agriculture, manufacture, and Priority Projects in qualified opportunity zones.
