Mr. Cruz is a tax Manager with over eleven years of experience between private and public accounting, specializing in tax matters. Before joining KGT, Mr. Cruz has worked in the San Juan Office of two International Certified Public Accounting Firms where he began his career in public accounting providing tax compliance and consulting services to a wide variety of industries. Mrs. Cruz has experience in the areas of individual, corporate taxation as well as partnerships, and limited liability companies.
Mr. Cruz has experience with the Puerto Rico tax compliance requirements including but not limited to income tax, sales and use tax, industrial tax incentives, personal and real property taxes, municipal license taxes, as well as acting as representative in administrative proceedings before local taxing authorities, including but not limited to, deficiency procedures. Mr. Cruz also provides guidance to entities commencing operations in Puerto Rico in tax-related matters.
