Principal Functions:


The Accountant is primarily responsible for performing accounting procedures in the areas of accounts receivables, bank accounts/cash deposits, accounts payable, cash disbursement and unbilled charges. 


Essentials Duties and Responsibilities with Accounting Processes: 

Accounts Receivables:

• Post customer payments (checks, ACHs, wire transfers, credit cards) into NetSuite ERP System. 
• Post credit memos to customers’ accounts in NetSuite ERP System.
• Upload all payments’ supporting documents in “pdf” format into NetSuite’s File Cabinet. 
• Process credit card collections via manual or virtual POS and e-mail customers with transaction receipts.
• Manage A/R e-mail inbox. 


Accounts Payable: 

• Maintain vendor digital files up to date (Hacienda waiver, Merchant Certificate)
• Record all supplier invoices and payments in accounts payable subsidiary in NetSuite ERP System.
• Upload all vendor supporting documents in “pdf” format into NetSuite’s File Cabinet. 
• Review and analyze all vendor invoices as to applicability and correctness. 
• Preparation of informative returns for payments to suppliers and professional services providers. 
• Record credit card transactions (AMEX & Visa) into NetSuite ERP System.
• Manage A/P e-mail inbox. 
• Prepare and file monthly professional service income tax return deposits 
• Provide support recording Health Insurance suppliers’ invoices. 


Unbilled Charges:

• Post out of pockets (OOP) items between G/L control accounts and subsidiary ledgers. (Open Air) 
Other Accounting Functions:
• Support Accounting Manager in other general accounting matters. 
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Major in Accounting. 
• Not less than five years of experience in similar accounting functions. 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (both Spanish and English). 
• Analytical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and simultaneous projects.
• Computer skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work under pressure.
